Easingwold and surrounding area

Easingwold is a beautiful Georgian market town just 20 minutes north of York, just outside the North York Moors National Park.

If you don't know the area it is well worth a visit; there are many interesting things to see and do: The White Horse of Kilburn; 'The Mouseman' of Kilburn; Shandy Hall in Coxwold; Sutton Park; The Herriot Musuem in Thirsk

And if you are looking for a bite to eat, The Durham Ox in Crayke (4 miles from the Gallery) and The Bluebell in Alne (2 miles) have both gained well deserved high reputation. Alternatively, there are several cafés, coffee shops and pubs in Easingwold, including the award winning Tee-Hee in the centre of the market place..
